We’re delighted to announce the latest awards made under the Armed Forces Covenant Local Grants programme, supporting community integration and local delivery of services to military communities.

Almost half a million pounds will now support projects across the UK, including six projects specifically working in Northern Ireland ranging from a peer support group to help reduce isolation and mental health issues amongst Veterans; to horticulture and nature-based therapy courses. We can’t wait to see the progress of these fascinating projects – look out for future updates on our social media!

In other areas, we supported a wide range of activities including water sports in Wales, a theatre project in North East England and early-years music in the West Midlands. Once again, we’re pleased with the inspiring activities this funding is supporting. For a full list of all awards made at this round, click here.
